My philosophy of nutrition begins with a bio-individualized approach to a person's nutrition and lifestyle. Since you are as unique as your thumbprint, your nutrition and lifestyle should be treated just as one-of-a-kind. As a certified holistic Nutrition Consultant and a certified 21-Day Sugar Detox Coach, I have studied holistic nutrition where I learned how to support the body through nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle changes. I work with my clients under this holistic philosophy with a well-rounded approach to wellness, where we get back to the basics and ditch diet dogma. My mission is to help inspire and guide you to reach your health and wellness goals by developing meal plans and eating habits to fuel your fitness and lifestyle endeavors, all while creating and maintaining a strong and healthy lifestyle through a bio-individual approach to nutrition.
Real whole foods, free of toxic chemicals, is what my program is all about. You can chose to follow the daily meal plans provided or use the list of yes/no foods to create your own. Based off personal taste preferences and allergies, you will be eating: protein from animal meats, dairy (if tolerated), and legumes; seeds, oils, and healthy fats such as avocado, olives, and coconut oil; booster foods such as seaweed, fermented foods, spices and herbs; carbohydrates from unrefined starches, leafy vegetables, crunchy vegetables, and fruit! There are endless options on recipes and meals to make when eating a whole foods diet.
I specialize in one-on-one and group coaching for people who need some extra support for busting sugar cravings, weight loss, autoimmunity, balancing hormones, supporting seasonal and food allergies, diabetics, heart health, mental health, as well as gut and inflammation flare ups. Even if you just want to fine tune or check-in on your nutrition and lifestyle, I am here to help YOU reach whatever your goals are!

When I began the group program, I was tired both physically and mentally. At 57 I felt that menopause was taking over my health and my brain with memory gaps and reduced ability to sleep (due to numerous hot flashes and other discomforts through the night). Weight loss strategies that had worked in the past were not working. I seemed to be getting that “meno belly” despite cardio and focused exercises. Add to that the physical challenges of less strength and increased hot flashes despite herbal and therapeutic remedies. When I rolled my ankle, I recalled Alyssa’s discussion regarding boosters and nutrition. I reviewed the notes and instead of a typical 8-9 week recovery, I was back on my feet in 6 weeks! All of these results provided even greater resolve to incorporate the nutritional aspects into my routine.
